Uncovering:
Women in Graphic Design

ILLUSTRATION, PUBLICATION

‘Uncovering: Women in Graphic Design’ is a capstone project that combines my interests in publication design, illustration, and design history. The project reframes the narrative of contemporary design history by highlighting the women whose contributions have shaped and continue to influence the field of graphic design. Through both written and visual documentation, the book serves as an accessible archive of their work and impact.

Creating a hand-bound publication allowed me to explore materiality, layout, and typography as part of the narrative, ensuring that the visual and physical qualities of the book support and enhance its content.

Beyond showcasing my design interests, the project reflects my values as a designer, demonstrating my commitment to thoughtful storytelling, inclusive representation, accessibility and design driven by curiosity and purpose.
